Ballet, Pointe Work Prep and Pointe Work
Ballet is an amazing style of dance that should be enjoyed by all regardless of age or prior experience. Our Ballet classes encourage discipline and technique whilst providing an important knowledge and foundation to support other styles of dance.
If students wish to further their training (11+) and after assessment, we offer Pointe Work Prep and Pointe Work classes, which run in addition to their weekly Ballet classes.
During show term, students will work together as a group incorporating what they have learnt during classes to produce a Ballet show number to perform to a track fitting in with the storyline of the Production. In addition, Pointe Work students will also work on a show number.
During examination term, students will follow the examination syllabus incorporating what they have been learning in class and learn a routine to perform individually to an examiner and then perform the routine again as a group for our Award Presentation Production for you all to see what they have been working so hard on.
